Celebrate Fall by getting out into nature and learning about the edible, medicinal & dangerous herbs of the Pacific NW!

Leading the herb walk is Traditional Western Herbalist Tania Oceana. Topics include foraging, survival skills, herbal folklore as well as historical & modern uses of herbs within a holistic healing framework.

We will go over the plants, herbs and trees on Powell Butte to learn about the edible and medicinal properties of the many native, invasive and naturalized plants in the Pacific NW.

Bring your curiosity, your rain gear (just in case), optional notebook and a willingness to connect with nature. Note: this will include light hiking outdoors in a green space.

Level | Beginner + (new to Herbalism as well as a refresher for intermediate Herbalists)
